it is with a very sad and frustrated heart that i say our dossier is coming back to us. i spoke with Terra, our family coordinator, who explained that what we thought was our united states government approval was not. apparently a common misunderstanding, according to Terra. she has no idea how much longer it will take for us to get that piece of paper. it has been two months since our fingerprinting so we would assume it should be hear anytime.
vulnerability is not one of my strong suits but because i hope to give this "journal" to david someday i feel i should share that i am broken by this news. there have been tears on this journey but today was the first time it has been tears of frustration and feelings that near anger. i don't understand why it has to be so difficult. there are millions of children DYING around the world because they don't have basic necessities. i just can't make it make since in my head, how this long and tedious process is better for those children. i [rande] ask that you pray that we find rest and rejuvenation in God. my sudden outburst today showed me a heart that doesn't fully trust that God has it. we have known from the start that only God could have brought us to this desire but somewhere in all the paperwork and dreams of finally meeting our son i minimized God and His desires for our child and for us.

think of it this way...your little boy is not ready for you yet. Either he isn't born yet or God needs more time. This is God's way of making it the perfect time! I know your frustration is hard...keep up the good work though :) You will see him soon!
