last night casey and i received an incredible gift. it was so exciting that i danced and even cried a little out of sheer joy and humility. a family from our church felt like they needed to give us money to bring david home, and so they did. they handed us in cash $1700. i almost couldn't wrap my mind around such an extravagant gift. i had to count it a couple of times just to make sure. God deserves all the glory but we are so grateful to this family and how they trust God to do whatever he desires with the money they have [and their lives of course].
so as you pray for david and the day we get to finally bring him home - thank God for the families he has used to help us get him. he is worthy of ALL our praise. not just because of the season - but for who HE is!
