a month already...

before you get too excited - we have not heard anything regarding our adoption. everything continues to sit in ethiopia waiting for someone to look over our paperwork. i am finding it easier to wait now. i think part of it is not having to be reminded every day by the paperwork still sitting on my desk. it may also be that i had prepared myself for delays in ethiopia. after all, who can i call to make it hurry up? the answer - no one.

according to the latest news it will probably be another 7 or 8 months before we hear anything about david. we continue to get updates on other families getting their referrals but nothing for us for a while. please pray over casey and i [and david] as we wait for god's perfect timing. we believe that their is joy and purpose to this wait and we don't want to miss that by wallowing in our longing for david.
