a waiting mom

this one will be random but i wanted to share about a few moments in my daily life as i wait for David.

• i carry my phone with me at all times thinking that any call could be "the call". yes, i know most likely it won't be for another month or two - we are just so anxious to get our referral.
• i get overly excited when i'm in david's room and sometimes just walking past it gets going. the anticipation seems to be building.
• i can no longer sleep. i think God is trying to prepare me for David's schedule. can't say that i am loving that yet.
• i randomly realize i have no idea what we are going to do with a baby. my most resent pondering was, where do i change his diaper on our very long 14 hour flight? more and more of these questions pop into my head each day. again, i think God is trying to prepare me.

it is fun to be giddy excited again!
