Romans 12.4
Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ's body. We are many parts of one body and we all belong to each other.

Ephesians 1.23
And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.

i have just returned home from an amazing afternoon with incredibly Godly women who i get to call friends. seven of my best girlfriends organized a shower for david today and i have to say it was more emotional than i thought it would be. as i was preparing for church today knowing the shower was this afternoon i began reflecting on our journey. i thought back to the moment casey laid his bonus check in front of julie and i at mcalister's and said, "let's go". i remembered meeting with our team for the first time and praying over how god would provide the funds. i laughed at the memory of the garage sale. i giggled at the spud bash mostly because that was the weekend ryan confessed the he and ashley had begun praying over adopting a child. then i fought the tears [already in makeup at this point] as i thought about seeing david's face for the first time while the sunnybrook staff watched us through the window. now, i can include a house full of women praying for david to become a warrior for God. the body is alive!!!!!
