serve God

we pray like crazy that God will grab david's sweet heart young and never let go. there isn't a day that goes by that david doesn't hear how much God loves him and that he has incredible plans for him if he chooses to follow him. we talk a lot about God in our house - we talk about how he created everything while we go for walks, how we are to be care takers when we feed cows with daddy, God's love for us, God's desire for us and recently we have started talking about how we can serve God.

david has already begun serving God alongside us but we have just recently started talking about it. that serving God is a way to worship God and that he designed us with specific gifts to use. i realize that this is complex and david doesn't understand all of it but he gets part of it. so a few days ago i asked him how he could serve God? His response, "fly airplane". i am amazed by this child more and more. he "gets" far more than i imagined.
