we have gone back and forth for months on whether we wanted to go ahead and give him a name or wait and see what his Ethiopian name is. i [rande] couldn't wait any longer, so david it is. neither of us wanted to give him four names so he will have one middle name, which will be his ethiopian name. [hopefully we can pronounce it]
we had a great time in our huge hometown of unionville, mo over the weekend. we were able to surprise casey's sister katelyn with a 16th birthday party. along with now feeling old because she can drive, i am now the family runt on both sides. kateyln and my sister dakoda are both now taller than me.
our Butler Baby BBQ was a ton of fun. we had great food and even got to meet some new faces. since we both grew up in unionville and rarely does someone move to unionville it was a nice surprise to meet new people. we send a big thank you to our home church for all your support.
