father's day gift

casey and i are both working like crazy right now so when we had a few hours with each other on sunday it seemed like a perfect time to give him his first father's day gift. so below is a picture of casey's first journal. cute, uh? it's leather so it smells like a new ball glove.

this journal will some day be given to our son david. either the worst happens and casey passes away before david is grown; or we get to his teenage years and conversations are hard to come by and his dad's words need to come in another form. inside the cover of the journal i gave casey a few topics to help get him going.
