if you have not been following us the courts in ethiopia have been closed since august 23rd [from memory so rough guess] and they were scheduled to reopen on monday. we even know of a few families that are scheduled to go to court on wednesday the 7th. sadly that is not what will be happening. we have just received word from america world that the courts will not be opening until the following monday [the 12th]. i have not heard if the families scheduled on the 7th have been rescheduled yet. they are estimating once the courts reopen it will most likely be another few weeks before we get a court date set.
this is very hard to hear. we met our son on July 30th so we have missed 65 days or just over 2 months of his life with us due to these court closings. i ask that you pray for casey and i to stand firm, knowing that God has brought this together for His glory and His perfect timing. we have found that satan is trying to sneak in and cause seeds of doubt that we heard God correctly in our calling to adopt. our enemy is very sly but our great and mighty KING has already saved us from his grasp.
