day of firsts

after a fabulous night of sleep for all three of us we have had a great wednesday. oh, and our little man is 14 months today! this picture was taken just moments before he got his first round of shots in the states. guess how many he needed? SEVEN!!!!! needless to say he was not all smiles after that. it only took one granola bar to make him feel better so i thought he did great.



since he was doing so well, i decided we needed to go buy some shoes that fit his feet. uncle kyle was kind enough to buy him a pair and i thought i gave him the correct size but it seems shoes and sandals are not the same sizes. so he has been wearing a pair a size too big. he actually loves wearing his shoes which seems odd to me but it makes things pretty easy when we get ready to leave. so this picture is of him in old navy in his first shopping cart experience. as you can tell, he wasn't sure what to think.



he was still doing great an hour after getting shots and spending thirty minutes in old navy shopping and talking so we headed to wal-mart. he got into shopping in wal-mart. i think he likes to people watch. here we are at the check-out.



we had lots of fun today!
