family fun

i have a wonderful husband that works incredibly hard so that i can stay home with david and #2 soon. sadly, he has to work a lot of weekends as well so going out for family time is challenging. we were so grateful that he had this last weekend off and even more excited that it was 75 degrees in oklahoma. so we packed up and headed to the zoo. david loves animals so the zoo was a huge hit - even if the most of the animals weren't doing much. we laughed and played at the zoo for almost three hours and finished it off with some ice cream.

then, God sent us a snow storm [reminder, just 3 days ago it was 75 degrees] that has allowed casey to be home early in the afternoon [yes he still has to go to work - apparently animals like to be fed as well]. so the boys played outside yesterday and have already made plans to do it again today. i on the other hand stayed inside the nice warm house. it's good father-son time.
