it has been a busy week in the butler house. we have been creating maps, signs, organizing puzzles, and making plans for familyquake. if you are in the stillwater/perkins area join us sunday, monday and tuesday at Sunnybrook Christian Church for familyquake. you can find more information on Sunnybrook's website www.sunnybrookcc.org.
i have enjoyed the craziness that comes with volunteering for such an event at the church. it has been different having david to "help" me. what should take a few minutes can now take almost an hour, but i love that he wants to help. when i start to lose my patience with his "help" God reminds me that this is a wonderful quality that i need to encourage.
although i have worked on familyquake stuff every day, my mind has been somewhere else. i can't explain it or understand why but my mind has been drifting to africa all week. i have relived our time with david in ethiopia, i have pictured the orphanage in rwanda that grace smith came from, i have seen the beautiful faces of the children i met my first trip to ethiopia and i have wondered - when can i go again and what comes next?.
