Just a week ago we had our first big and very intentional fundraiser. We had live music, yummy treats from Aspen and an incredible evening in community with our church family. These are the nights that grow my love for Sunnybrook [our church]. This type of event has been done before with the same results. There was a need within our church body and we came together to rally beside. I can't help but to think of the first church and their devotion to each other. Not for their glory but for God's. It was a night full of beauty, generosity, compassion [for the 146 million orphans], joy, and of course laughter. Thank you for the many who joined us at Aspen and to those who sent encouragement through calls and texts. We love each of you!
God, you continue to surprise us with your extravagance. Thank you Father!
